His Imperial Highness Petros, Prince Palaeologus,
Grand Master of the Imperial Contantianian Military Order of St George.
His Imperial and Royal Highness, the Prince Petros Palaeologos, was born 30th September 1927 in Boulogne, France, the son of their Imperial Highnesses, Prince Francis and Princess Robina Myschetesky Palaeologos, a descendant of Prince Joannes Palaeologos, King of Armenia.
He was privately educated and is the recipient of doctorates of Humane Letters 1969, Theology 1979, and Divinity, 1983 and of honorary doctorate from the International Academy of Oriental Studies 1970. The Prince was appointed professor of Byzantine Arts at St. Irene Patriarchal Institute 1979, and has been a professor of Roman Byzantine history at the University of Danzig (Gdandsk, Poland). He is now retired. Prince Palaeologos is also an expert on history, genealogy, history and art. His membership include those as senator of the International Parliament for Safety and Peace; distinguished fellow of the Columbus Association; grand master of the order as well as a member of the Hellenic Club of Writers (Athens). Honorary President of the society of Saint Stanislaus of Free Poland, he was also a fellow of the International Biographical Association. Among his many other honours, titles and awards.
