Bishops of the Society.
All of the church bishops have been consecrated by the principal consecrator for which is Archbishop David Bell and Archbishop N Anderson, who was consecrated by Patriarch Castillo Mendez, Diocesan Bishop of Brasilia, Brazil; who was in turn consecrated by the Roman Catholic Bishop Carlos Duarte Costa in 1948.The Rite used for our consecrations is the Pre Vatican II Roman Pontifical. Particular attention is paid throughout the consecration with the rubrics.
There is always the minimum of three (3) bishops present during the consecrations. The above bishops have been consecrated by the Archbishop primus of and for the Church, whether they still be apart of the Church or moved to another Catholic Church. If the bishops' name is not listed within, he has not been consecrated by the bishops of the society. All consecration papers carry an transparent waterseal of the Archbishops coat of arms only visible when held in the light. THE STRUCTURE OF THE SOCIETY OF POPE LEO XIII. I. GENERAL SYNOD: Meets every three (3) years to discuss the Society matters and interprets religious teachingsSelects proposed candidates as bishops and establishes the Society policy, law, and discipline. II. SPECIAL SYNODS such as provincial, et cetera, called when necessary. III. SUPREME COUNCILS meet annually to review the Society work and to administer all matters of Church businesses, which concern the Society as a whole. IV. BISHOP PRIMUS is an Archbishop who acts similar to a chief executive of the Society. He acts as principal consecrator to new bishops, convenes synods, presides at the Supreme Council, controls the Society’s publications, and discipline in the dioceses. DIOCESE I. DIOCESAN SYNOD occurs every three (3) years after the General Synod to enact laws pertinent to the diocese. II. DIOCESAN COUNCILS administer the Society’s local matters in the diocese. III. BISHOPS appoint priests, preside at Diocesan Councils, visit parishes, confer Sacraments, and administer their dioceses. SENIORS (MONSIGNORS) are appointed by the bishop. They oversee the running of the parish matters as instructed by the bishop. PARISH I. PARISH MEETINGS are held every year to elect committee members, to call for actions necessary for the parish, to review and consider parish reports. Important meetings may also be called if necessary. II. PARISH COMMITTEES are elected by the parish. At least five (5) laity members serve to assist the parish priest to fulfill parish and synodial resolutions, et cetera. III. PRIESTS are appointed by the bishop to guide the Church members within the Society in faith, to organize the Society in parish events, and to administer Church businesses. ....................................................................................................................................................
