... His Excellency the Most Reverend Dom. Juan Carlos Plata was born on the 19 February 1970 in Colombia. He was baptized on the 6 June 1970 into the Roman Catholic Church by Rvdo. Martiniano Bautista. Confirmed by His Excellency the Most Reverend Isaías Duarte Cancino. His Excellency made his studies of Philosophy in Saint Thomas de Aquino University and Theology in San Buenaventura University 'Saint Thomas University (Spanish: Universidad Santo Tomás) is a Roman Catholic University located in Bogota, Colombia. It is the oldest Colombian University founded in 1580 by the Dominican Order'.

 His Excellency is licenced in Catholic Theology and works in a Colombian Governament School as Ethycs and a Religious teacher at the same time as a spiritual assessor.

  • ImageHe was ordained in to major orders as Deacon on 12 April 2009.
  • He was ordained in to major orders of the sacred priesthood on 3 August 2009.
  • His Excellency was consecrated to the sacred Episcopate of the Roman Catholic Church pre Vatican II in September 2011 by Principal Consecrator Most Reverend Dom David Bell assisted by Co consecrators Most Reverend Dom Neville Anderson and Most Reverend Dom Andrew Redpath in Rome.

As a chief shepherd and modern day apostle he works in education of adolescents in a Governament School in the City of Bogotá. His Excellency has six missions
