Society of Pope Leo XIII in Australia is headed by The Most Reverend Msgr N Anderson,"Metropolitan" My Lord, His Grace the Archbishop of Ballarat ,who celebrates Mass at the Cathedral Church of Our Lady and St Michael the Archangel. 

Archbishop Anderson was a former Anglican Priest for 20 years running very busy parishes before converting to the Catholic Faith. He was re-ordained a deacon and priest and was consecrated by the late Patriarch Luis Fernando Castillo Mendez, Patriarch of Brazil who was in turn consecrated by the Brazilian Catholic Apostolic Churches first Patriarch. The Roman Catholic Archbishop Carlos Duarte Costa, Archbishop of Rio de Janerio. Archbishop Anderson is assisted by several Bishops at the Cathedral Church and fellow priests and deacons .

The Most Reverend David N Anderson was an Anglican Minister of Religion for a very busy parish in Melbourne. He converted to Catholicism and was re-ordained a deacon and priest. On 15^th July 2005 at 4.00 PM, Archbishop Anderson was consecrated a sacred Bishop by His Beatitude; Patriarch Dom Luis Fernando Castillo Mendez in the Patriarchal Cathedral in Brasilia, Brazil his co consecrators was Auxilairy Bishop Josivaldo Pereira de Oliveria & Diocesan Bishop Joanir da Silva Neves also present acting as Deacon to the Patriarchal thrown was Archbisho p David Bell, Archbishop of London, Secretary for Doctrine & Faith of the Brazilian Patriarchate along with some other 20 fellow bishops.
